National Debt

As common sense citizens, we understand that if we borrow money, we have to pay it back. Most of us also know that we get into debt by spending too much. There is literally no other explanation. Unfortunately, many DC politicians are either incapable of grasping basic economics or they have chosen to make a career out of denial and diversion. Our debt is crippling us and there is no reasonable solution other than cutting spending. We do not face easy decisions, but we can either face our problems on our terms now, or on someone elses down the road. I have faith in the American people. We have weathered harsher storms than this and come out stronger as a nation. This time will be no different, but we need to address our problems boldly and directly.

  • Reductions in spending must take place across all Federal agencies & departments
  • Responsible reform of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid is paramount to reducing our national debt
  • We do not have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem
